Richard DiPlacido started in business in the mid 80's a few years after attending a trade high school, in Franklin MA. He followed in building as many family members did for years. In 1988 Richard gained his construction supervisors license and also real estate license, continuing business selling real estate and contracting projects in Massachusetts.

In 1999, Richard and Barbara his wife decided to relocate to Maine. They already had a home in the quaint historical town of Bethel, which is next to Sunday River Ski Resort. Richard has served on Town of Bethel Planning Board, the Bethel Sign Committee, and also the Bethel Building Standards Committee. He always dreamed of living in the mountains having a back yard of nature to wander through. Richard continues general contracting construction projects selling real estate and developing new homes in the surrounding towns around the ski area.
